For World AIDS Day this year, we are highlighting the work of the BRILLIANT Consortium, a USAID-funded Cooperative Agreement dedicated to accelerating HIV vaccine discovery and development in Africa. This collaboration between African scientists and institutions is a significant commitment to HIV prevention.
Our team recently had the privilege of attending the HVTN Southern Africa Regional Scientific Meeting in Cape Town. As the appointed data management provider for CoVPN 3008 and CoVPN 3008 TB substudy, it was incredibly rewarding to meet the doctors, scientists, and all the individuals involved in this critical research. Connecting in person reminded us of the shared commitment we all have toward advancing HIV and TB research.
Our team recently attended the SingularityU South Africa Summit, where leaders, tech pioneers and industry experts came together to discuss the transformative power of technology. We left the summit inspired by the future of healthcare both on the African continent and beyond.

BioInformatico is the appointed clinical data management service provider for the NIH-funded HIV Vaccine Trials Network (HVTN) Ubuntu (COVPN3008) clinical trial - a Multi-Center, Randomized, Efficacy Study of COVID-19 mRNA Vaccine in Regions with SARS-CoV-2 Variants of Concern. Reflecting on our journey with the UBUNTU study, BioInformatiCo remains confident in our commitment to accelerate medical discovery.
